Travelling on the bus without a proper travel arrangement constitutes a criminal offense.
Passengers travelling without a travel arrangement and/or passengers who do not present their tickets/cards to the Supervisor will be charged an increased fare according to what is stipulated in the Transportation Ordinance.
All the passengers who used their Rav-Kav to pay the travel fare, must run the card through the designated validation machine. There are no exceptions to this, including passengers with a subscription-type of travel arrangement.
A personal Rav-Kav cannot be transferred to any other passenger.
Below, please see information on the increased fare assigned by the ticket supervisors of the Transport Ministry to passengers who have not paid the fare when getting on the bus through the front or back door, or have not validated their ticket on the ticketing machines as per the new tariff reform.
